Day 1

Overview

Mountain Biking and Hmong Village Homestay (L/D)

Meet your guide and get sized-up on one of our quality mountain bikes. We’ll depart from city center and head south on paved and then dirt roads as we leave the bustle of city life behind. There is a steady climb winding through the mountains and past villages. There are plenty of hills on this tour and your reward is an invigorating day with great views, spectacular scenery, and villages to explore.  You'll arrive mid-afternoon with plenty of time to explore and experience the local way of life.

That night, experience Hmong culture and lifestyle with an immersive home stay in a welcoming village tucked in the mountains.

Day 2

Overview

Jungle Trek and Kuang Si Waterfall (B/L)

After breakfast prepared by your guide, trek 3 hours through lush jungle to one of Luang Prabang’s most famous sites, the Kuang Si Waterfall, with its Asiatic bear sanctuary and many cascading pools to swim in and explore. Take lunch in the jungle on the way and don’t rush at the falls.

After you’ve had your fill of the Kuang Si, we’ll pick you up and transfer you late afternoon to Luang Prabang.

Advise: Tiger Trail offers secure storage in our office and will transport your backpack to the village homestay so that you needn’t carry it while biking. It is recommended that you have a separate small carry bag for your camera, water, and personals which you’ll like to take with you biking.

This tour is not advisable during the rainy season as some of the hills become too challenging to ride.
