Natural Soap-Making Workshop in Luang Prabang

During the workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of natural soap-making, including the methods, ingredients, and locally inspired botanicals used to create beautifully handcrafted soap. With step-by-step guidance from an experienced Ban Sabu instructor, you will learn how different natural ingredients are combined and transformed into your own soap bars.

The workshop is suitable for beginners, so no previous soap-making experience is required. Each participant will have the opportunity to get involved in the process and create six handmade natural soap bars to take home after the experience.

This workshop offers a relaxing and meaningful alternative to traditional sightseeing and is ideal for couples, families, groups of friends, and travelers interested in local crafts and sustainable experiences in Luang Prabang.

• Soap Collection: Soaps made during the morning session may be collected the same afternoon. Soaps made during a later private session may be collected the following morning.

• Minimum Age: Participants must be over 10 years old. Ages must be advised at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

• More than 48 hours before the session: free of charge.
• Between 48 hours and 24 hours before the session: 50% of the booking value is payable.
• Less than 24 hours before the session, or no-show: 100% of the booking value is payable.

Cancellation by Ban Sabu: In the event of force majeure or any circumstance preventing Ban Sabu from delivering a Workshop, guests will be offered, at their discretion, (a) rescheduling to a mutually convenient date and time, or (b) a full refund of any amounts paid.
