LCTW Bear Forest Walk – Half-Day Experience

Experience a tranquil, guided forest walk that brings you closer to Laos’ incredible wildlife.
This leisurely 2-kilometer stroll takes you through a peaceful woodland trail where you'll encounter rescued bears living in spacious, natural enclosures, as well as the graceful sambar deer and elusive muntjac roaming nearby.

An extension of our popular Discovery Stroll, this tour offers added opportunities to observe some of the country's most captivating animals in their restored habitats—ideal for photography, quiet observation, and learning more about Laos’ conservation efforts.

The terrain is gently uneven but suitable for most fitness levels, making it a wonderful option for those seeking a relaxed yet immersive experience in nature. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or simply looking to escape into the calm of the forest, this guided walk offers a unique and meaningful connection to the natural world.

Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife (LCTW) is to work jointly with key conservation stakeholders, both within Laos and internationally, to end the illegal wildlife trade. We rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife affected by this trade. In addition, we build animal welfare and conservation capacity through engagement and outreach across Lao PDR.

• 100% refund at least 7 days before the tour date
• 50% refund at least 5 days before the tour date
• 0% refund if least than 3 days before the tour date

• Under 4 years old  = Free Of Charge
• Above 4 years old = Same price as adult
